Meet the Miami Team Behind Hollis Air Duct Miami

We’re not a rotating cast of subcontractors. When you book a duct cleaning, dryer vent service, or duct sealing job in Miami, the people who show up are the same people who answer the phone, plan the route, and sign off on the work. That matters in this trade because the difference between a job done right and a job you’ll have to redo in eight months usually comes down to who was holding the equipment. Our People

Roy Castellanos, Owner

Roy started cleaning ducts in Miami in 2004, when most homeowners didn’t know the trade existed. He built this location under the Garrison Partners umbrella by doing the unglamorous things consistently: showing up inside the quoted window, writing the price before the work starts, and coming back if something isn’t right. Roy still rides along on jobs a few times a month, mostly to check equipment and talk through unusual duct layouts with the crew. He’s the one who insists every technician carry a roll of painter’s tape and a drop cloth, because a clean site is part of the job, not an upsell. On weekends you’ll find him fishing the canals out near Hialeah or arguing about Cuban coffee ratios.

Luis M., Lead Technician

Luis has been with the Miami crew for a decade and has probably cleaned or sealed more linear feet of ductwork in this city than anyone outside a commercial contractor. He’s certified on the Rotobrush rotary brush system and runs the Nikro negative-air machine on every full-system job, which matters because negative air is what keeps dust from drifting back into your living room while the cleaning is happening. Luis is the guy we send when a previous company left debris in the plenum or when a dryer vent is packed with lint two stories up. He’s quiet until you ask about his garden down in Homestead, where he grows more mango and avocado than any one family can eat.

Caroline D., Service Coordinator

Caroline is the person on the other end of the phone when you call (850) 660-3272. She’s been coordinating service calls in South Florida for eight years and knows the traffic patterns from Kendall to Coral Gables to North Miami well enough to schedule around them. When you call, Caroline is the one who walks through what you’re seeing inside your vents or behind your dryer, gives you a straight answer about whether it needs a cleaning or something else, and schedules a technician with a written quote before any work begins. She’s also the reason our jobs start on time more often than not. Caroline has a habit of rescuing stray cats in her neighborhood, which her husband pretends to mind.

Marcus T., Apprentice Technician

Marcus joined the team two years ago after working residential construction in Broward County. He’s training under Luis on the rotary brush and negative-air systems and handles the pre-job inspection checklist on most calls: checking duct runs, identifying access points, and photographing problem areas so you can see the before and after for yourself. He’s also the one who goes into the tight attics in older Coral Gables homes, which is not a job anyone volunteers for in July. Marcus is studying for his HVAC certifications at night and can tell you the exact humidity level in any part of Miami during any month, mostly because he’s the one crawling through it.
